Screenager Films Series Showing “Growing Up in the Digital Age”

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting screenings of three documentaries from Delaney Ruston’s Screenagers series. These films delve into the challenges our children face with technology, mental health, and social connections, offering valuable insights for both parents and students.

Parents and students in grades 6-12 are invited to join us in the Robinson Center for the screening of the first film in the series, Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age. The documentary is an award-winning film that probes into the vulnerable corners of family life and depicts messy struggles over social media, video games, and academics. The film offers solutions on how we can help our kids navigate the digital world.

Parents of Lower School-aged children can choose to attend the screening of Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition, which updates the original movie with the latest research, insight and advice, tailored for the students, parents, and educators of elementary schools.

Both films will be followed up with a discussion session led by the Heathwood Counseling Team.

We are pleased to share that this event is free, and open to the public. If you have family or friends with school-aged children, please invite them to attend. We hope to see you all there.
