Willis Ware Named the 2023 SC Girls' High School Cross Country Coach of the Year

The US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has named Coach Willis Ware as the 2023 SC Girls' High School Cross Country Coach of the Year. This honor, sponsored by the US Marine Corps, was awarded to Coach Ware based on his exemplary leadership and the national success of the girls' cross country team this season. The team won its third consecutive SCISA state championship and was named #1 in the state among all schools, public and private, by MileSplit.
